The Zone Studios & Lounges

What's the best type of floor to dance on?

Raised, floating hardwood maple floors are by far superior to any other type of flooring, including "sprung" floors. They offer the best protection against sprains and strains, have the perfect spring, and are the most widely used at all professional dance studios. These types of floors are used for EVERY professional indoor sport, including basketball stadiums, volleyball, gym aerobics, and college & high school gymnasiums.

The Zone has raised, floating 3/4 " hardwood maple floors.

There are many substitutes on the market that are touted as the best, but they fall short.
See what dancing on real floating maple is like at The Zone.

Studio A
At 1700 Sq. Ft., high ceilings, raised flooring covered with Marley, this is our premier room. Covering the floor with Marley allows the dancers to experience a different floor type. This room is used for our large classes, master classes, and auditions. We also convert this room into a theatre with seating for 100 and plenty of room for the dancers to put on a show.

Studio B
At 1300 Sq. Ft., maple hardwood floating raised floors, this room is perfect for any style, any time.

Studio C
Raised Maple Hardwood Floors, great all-purpose room.

Studio D
Perfect for 3-5 Yr Old Combos & Privates.
Raised Maple Floors with our own design and construction. Extremely effective, supportive, and comfortable.

Our Parent Waiting & Viewing Areas
We have put together several comfortable waiting & viewing areas in case you would like to stay and watch a class, read a magazine, or visit with our friendly staff & parents. All of our studios have viewing windows where you can watch any class at any time.
